We have chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, goats and sheep living on 35 park-like acres in Hempstead, Texas, approximately 45 miles northwest of Houston. The majority of our poultry and livestock are rescues and we are committed to providing each and every animal on this farm with the best life possible. In return, they clip and fertilize our pastures for us and lay eggs that we sell for both eating and hatching. We are currently in the process of applying for organic certification from the USDA and "Certified Humane" from Humane Farm Animal Care. When you purchase eggs from us you get high quality eggs layed by happy, healthy pastured chickens and help to support our rescues: all proceeds from sales of our eggs and Crazy K Farm® T-shirts are used to care for our rescue animals. Store bought eggs, even those labeled "free range" are laid by hens who live terrible short, inhumane lives. Please refuse to buy eggs produced by large poultry concerns! You can change the way hens live by supporting humane operations and demonstrating to poultry producers with your wallet that it is unacceptable to have a business based on tortured animals and that it can be commercially viable to treat egg-laying hens humanely.

Educational Visits to the Farm
Come visit Crazy K Farm®! We offer three different educational programs, one for children and families and two for adults. All are by appointment only and all proceeds are used to care for the animal residents of our farm. Our family and children's program is a hands-on 2-to-4 hour educational program for children of all ages. Our adult programs are one or two-day mentored vocational vacations for adults who want to test-drive life on a family farm/livestock sanctuary.

Crazy K Farm Pet and Poultry Products, LLC, manufactures the patents-pending Hen Saver® hen apron, Avian Haven® hut for parrots and other caged birds and Kitty Holster® cat harness. Each item in our product line was developed through rigid research and testing to insure that you are getting the very best products on the market.
Our mission is to produce high-quality essential pet and poultry products and to offer them to you, the consumer, at reasonable prices. All three of our highly innovative patent-pending items are the first of their kind on the market and each provides a vital service to the animals they are purchased for. The Kitty Holster is a soft, ultra-lightweight, clothing-like cat harness that even cats who hate to wear other types of harnesses love to wear, providing owners with peace of mind knowing that their cat is both safe and comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. The Hen Saver hen apron protects hens from treading by roosters, pecking from other hens, and gives chickens a fighting chance against chicken hawks; it also enables existing wounds to heal and lost feathers to regrow. And the Avian Haven hut is two products in one: a fabric hut shaped like a house that provides a semi-enclosed space for birds to retreat to within their cage to feel safe and secure and in which they can sleep and rest undisturbed in a natural perching position.
